New Added Feature ~ “Your Favorite Recipes”

LoadingFavoriteAdd to favorites

I wanted to let you know that we have added a new feature to Nouveau Raw.  It is called “Your Favorite Recipe”.  This came as a special request by one of our readers .  And we aim to please. :)  This feature can be found on the left-side menu bar on your screen.  See the green arrow in the photo below.

Once you click on the menu it will take you to the “My Favorite Recipe Collection”.
Please read the instructions that once you open up the page on your computer.

In the photo below, you will see the yellow arrow pointing at a yellow star
with the words, “Add to Favorites”.  When you click on those words, it
will save that recipe to your own collection of favorite recipes.
You will find this star at the top of each recipe.

Once you have clicked on it, it will now read “Added to Favorites!”

Now once you have started a collection, you can  click on the“ Your Favorite Recipes”
on the left-side menu bar and see what recipes you have selected.  See the large yellow arrow below.
If you want to visit that recipe, you just click on the name of the recipe that is in the green ink.
You will also the word remove, this is to remove any recipe one at a time from your favorites.
See the tiny yellow arrow?  It reads “Clear favorites”  be careful, once you click that, it will erase all

the recipes in your collection and then you would have to re-add them one at a time .

Please note; Your favorite list isn’t stored on my site, it is stored in the cache folder on your browser,

so if you clear you cache folder on your computer, you will lose your favorites list.  I can’t

replace it for you.

Hi, so thank you for your wonderful recipes! Iam so exciting to make them!
I want to make some breads recipes now, I am Japanese, and I don’t have raw oats in Japan, I have only tasted oats, But I want to make 100% raw breads… If you have ideas what is good instead of rolled oats. Do you have good idea that I don’t use oats toasted.
    Please advise me.
So thank you for your recipes!

      Hello Kotomi,

IF you don’t want to use oats you can play around with other ingredients such as raw buckwheat that has been soaked and dehydrated first. You can also try nut flours/ meal. Each different ingredient will alter the flavor and texture some so be aware of that. Sorry that I can’t give you straight across the board substitutions. Blessings, amie sue

Hi, I have another question about raw oats.
The last commnet I don’t have raw oats, Now I looked your amazon site of oats and you list bob’s red mill oats. Is this oats is raw?
If it is raw, I can get it maybe… but I am not sure it is raw or not. I want to know your oats you use. If you have another advice instead of raw oats, I want to know your idea, also! Thank you!

    • amie-sue says:

      Good morning Kotomi,

The Bob’s Red Mill oats are NOT raw. I do use them from time to time since raw ones are hard for me to get… well not hard, just have to order them. Please read this post that I had done regarding raw oats. I have some links listed in there as to where you can order thm through. Have a blessed day, amie sue
