Weekend Kitchen Madness!

LoadingFavoriteAdd to favorites

This weekend I was on a roll!  Often times when it starts,  I can’t stop it…so I just ran with it. :)  I made so many recipes, far to many to release all at once.  I don’t want to overwhelm you with emails of me in the kitchen.  So I will just list all the up and coming recipes that you can look forward to.

I love days like these though.  It’s like getting into the zone!  But I have to tell you my feet were killing me by the time I finally sat down.  Poor little piggies!  Bless my husbands heart for he sat at the other end of the couch and asked for my feet, where he proceeded on giving them a good healthy rub down.  Aaaah, he is amazing.

I think Bob is well set on treats for now.  The counter top is now loaded for the snack attacks that continually visit him .  So let’s see, what did I make the past two days….

  1. Raw Mayonnaise
  2. Chocolate Covered Raspberry Almond Cookies
  3. Honey Mustard Salad Dressing
  4. Chocolate Raspberry Spinners
  5. Peanut Butter Raisin Bars
  6. C.O.R.E. Flax Crackers
  7. Tropical Pineapple Mango Granola
  8. Sweet Grain Granola
  9. Walnut Banana Bread Granola
  10. Radish, Cucumber and Apple Salad
  11. Lime & Cilantro Flax Crackers
  12. Sting “N” Linger Salsa Flax Crackers
  13. Roasted Chili Habanero & Roasted Tomato-Tomatillo Flax Cracker (x-hot)

Hmmm, I think that is it…. Do any of you have crazy days in the kitchen?  If so, I would love to hear about them.  I hope you all had a blessed and relaxing weekend!

Until the next recipe….Amie Sue

I have made so many of your recipes already and i only found your site three days ago, we are addicted!

    Hello Amie-Sue
In just two days your efforts have yielded much. I am inspired and pray to be blessed with the ability to be as efficient in my raw food kitchen.

Quite frankly, with the exception of salads and raw fruits, the availability of make ahead raw food snacks and staples in our household have dwindled. Your example is motivating, however, not sure how to plan and get it all done.

By the way, your label and storage containers look very professional and organized. Please, would you share the labeling program or system you use? I would like to try it.

Thank you for sharing your accomplishments.

Also, I am looking for a staple cracker that is crunchy and durable for general snacking and dipping. You have such a wealth of cracker recipes, and any suggestions you would offer would be appreciated.

    Many thanks to you.

      Good evening Rhondy,

Goodness, you are reading an old posting from 2011. hehe But even though that particular weekend was so long ago… to this day, I still do batch food preparation. My husband LOVES to graze throughout the day and keeping healthier food on hand gives me peace of mind. I find that so many raw foods (granolas, cereals, crackers, breads, etc) freeze so well. So I keep a lot of mine frozen till needed and most don’t need thawing to enjoy right away.

As far as labels go, I use full sticker sheets that I order from Amazon and design the look of the label on my Adobe Photoshop program. Do you have a photoshop program on your computer? I love creating them and find great joy in the process.

Hmm, a cracker recipe. You are right, I do have a lot of them! Let me go take a peak, sit tight… (plays elevator music) OK back. Well, here are a few and a reason why I picked it.

Almond Thins – these are neutral in flavor so pair well with any dip or spread (spread them a little thicker than I did so they are a bit more sturdy)- https://nouveauraw.com/raw-recipes/crackers/almond-thins/

Olive Oil and Cracked Black Pepper Cheese Crackers – I LOVE these not only for their flavor but because they have probiotics in them Double happiness for your tummy – https://nouveauraw.com/raw-recipes/crackers/olive-oil-and-cracked-black-pepper-cheese-crackers-raw-vegan-gluten-free-cultured/

Abundant Veggie Flax Crackers – these are always easy to make because you can use up the veggies in your fridge. https://nouveauraw.com/raw-recipes/crackers/abundant-veggie-flax-crackers/

That was hard to just list 3. haha I hope this helps. Have a great weekend, blessings. amie sue
