Hi Gloria,

You are on the right path.... lemon and vinegar will help, also honey. I have heard that salt, oregano and olive oil help too. Just ideas. Have a great day, amie sue

Gosh, what a beautifully made site obviously loaded with love and encouragement; thank you for being you!
Although I want to make then bottle RAW salad dressing. I am wanting to know what you would suggest to add to the dressing as a preservative whether it would be raw (lemon, vinegar...) or NOT raw so that I could keep the dressing around longer if necessary. Thank you!!

Thank you Aria. It's hard to believe that it is that time of year already! But I am very excited. I love making gifts for the holidays, it brings me so much joy and blessings. If you roam around the site, you will spot different ways that I package foods for gift giving ideas. There are so many possibilities! This year I thought of looking for inexpensive china bowls to put kale chips / granolas or cookies in.... get those plastic gift bags, slide the bowl into it and gather it closed on top and wrap a bow around it. So often we over-look the fact that the container can a "gift" as well plus it saves on waste of cardboard, etc. Anyway, shew, got caught up in thought... you inspired me to get my thoughts rolling again. hehe

Have a blessed day....hugs, amie sue

Thank you so, so much for sharing and inspiring us. Wish I had time tonight to read all your posts from the beginning. :) Thank you also so much for arranging your recipes so helpfully. I'm getting ready for a long trip and had some ideas in mind for what I would be preparing and dehydrating, but with your inspiration and recipes this trip is going to be extra fun. Gratefully, The Mama

I am a newbie and other than a few crackers and and a breakfast granola. I am starting to eat raw and very plain food...I can see this is just about to change.
thank you again for your generosity and ingenuity.
