This turned out to be a wonderful addition to our raw breakfasts foods. If you never have tried Chia, there is one thing you ought to know, it is very filling! So you don’t walk away hungry after a bowl of this. You can make a jar of Chia Gel that will keep for up to 2 weeks in your fridge. It’s a great staple to have around for various recipes and would help satisfy that, “Gotta have it now” craving.
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 large apple, organic
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Soak the chia seeds soaked for at least 2 – 3 hours prior, could even soak overnight so you are ready for morning.
- Simply blend up the ingredients in the vita mix and you are ready to go! You could easily be creative with this dish. Mangos would be awesome in it and give it an even richer consistency.
