'Fish”-Tacos-featureI created this posting to be a visual inspiration for when you are looking for a lunch or dinner idea.  The recipe posted is the same as the raw “fish” sticks. You can use whole leaf lettuce as a “taco shell” or you can make your own crunchy tacos (here).

Hey, come over for vegan fish tacos!

Haha, yea, I know… sounds really odd doesn’t it? Explaining to someone that I made Raw Vegan “Fish” is just down right funny.  The perplexed look on their faces says it all.  If you are new to raw foods, the ingredient that I used to create that fishy taste is kelp, which is a seaweed.

Kelp is a natural source of vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E, as well as minerals including zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron, potassium, copper and calcium.  In fact it contains the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food – 10 times more than milk!  Kelp does a body good!

So load up on these wonderful tacos. Have a blessed day, amie sue
