I will say that there is some conflicting information on the net regarding this very question.  But to error on the side of caution, I added to soak and dehydrate them prior to making a flour.  Many sites indicate that that process is not required because they don&#039;t have &quot;skins&quot; such as almonds, pecans, walnuts.  I am not referring to the nut shell, but the brown skin around it.  But thank you for bringing that to my attention.  It is always good to revisit things and see what the latest studies are showing.
