Almond Crust

I used this picture only to show that you don’t have to be chained to the idea of only using pie pans or Springform pans.  Nor does the crust always have to be at the bottom of the totem pole!  Use your crusts a topping as well.  This Almond Crust works beautifully as a crumble on desserts too.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup fine chopped raw almonds
  • ¾ cup pitted and chopped medjool dates
  • 2 Tbsp raw  honey
  • Water for consistency

Preparation:

  1. Place all ingredients in your food processor and process until the batter sticks together when you pinch it together.
  2. Press firmly into your pan.
