I decided to make a section just on different pie crusts. After you read through them you will come to realize that they are extremely easy to make and very versatile. Nuts, dried fruit and spices are the main ingredients. Ah, I can already see your wheels spinning. Cooked versions of crusts are tricky to say the least. As a child I left almost every pie crust behind on my plate after I scrapped all the sweetness off. As an adult I witness others doing this as well. In my experiences with raw crust, I have never seen one left behind! So if you have a favorite raw pie that you like to make be inventive and try different crusts with it.
