~ raw, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free ~ I caved and for the first time ever, I tried freeze-dried strawberries.   I never gave freeze-dried fruits or veggies much thought before but I felt it was time to start doing some research to see if they fit my standards as a viable ingredient for my raw creations.
