These Cinnamon Skillet Apples taste like a warm apple pie right out of the oven. This recipe is 100% guilt-free, oil-free, vegan, no added sugar, and is a perfect addition to your morning porridge, a mid-afternoon snack, or dessert after dinner. If you find yourself with an abundance of delicious organic apples, I highly recommend taking a peek at this recipe.
There are so many beautiful ways to enjoy this recipe. You can keep a container of these in the fridge to use throughout the week, plus you can pack some away in the freezer for a future date. I always keep a container of mini raw vegan, gluten-free pie crusts in the freezer. For a quick dessert, you could pop one out, add a heaping scoop of these apples in the crust, and bake until warmed through.

Is that an induction stovetop you are cooking your apples on? I have been researching some lately…can’t decide..most of them are noisy I think.
Good morning Kathi,
To answer your question, yes. We have an induction stove in the house kitchen but out in my studio kitchen, I use a portable induction burner that I got from IKEA (of all places haha) I really enjoy cooking on it but it does make a little noise. Our house stove/oven that is induction isn’t noisy. I hope that answered your question. If you have more, please feel free to ask. blessings, amie sue
Thanks for replying. I’ve been thinking for awhile now about what brand of portable induction unit to try out….just curious I guess. It’s good to hear your opinion……..on a side note I have been exploring waffle recipes just for something different recently that don’t use all the regular ingredients like wheat flour, baking powder etc. so when I saw your recipes I was ecstatic. I will try one of the recipes today.
You bet Kathi,
My one suggestion I might add if you want to test a portable unit out is to buy one that can be returned if you don’t like it. That way you can test it out without the stress of possibly wasting money if you don’t like it.
Waffles, I just love waffles. haha Like you, I had to create a recipe that includes the standard ingredients. I am not cooking with oils as well so my most of these recipes won’t include those. Like any recipe, they can be altered to fit your needs. My main focus with all these recipes right now was to make them with simple ingredients that are nutrient-dense but also easy on the budget.
Please keep me posted on any of the recipes you try. blessings and health, amie sue
These are so good!
