Raw Crispy Monkey Brittle.

01/01/16 We are currently only selling Monkey Brittle locally. We removed our on-line sales. ***

Last month we celebrated the one year anniversary of Oldfather Farms® Gourmet Raw Food Manufacturing Company.  Shew that is a mouthful  (some pun intended).

When we first launched the company, it was my hope to take it online from the get-go.  Within a month of producing our first product  “Crispy Monkey Brittle”, our local community had latched on to this delicious snack and it was all we could do to keep up with the demand.  Our products are stocked in our local grocery stores, health food stores, a downtown coffee shop, Ace Hardware and can even be found in a farm irrigation store!   That last one just tickles me pink.

Throughout the year, we have gone through many expansions to accommodate our growth.  To an outsider these changes might seem small but to us each leap had been gigantic!  We are truly blessed and every item that passes through our fingertips makes us smile.

Almost a year ago we created a website for Oldfatherfarms.com, gearing up for online sales, but we quickly learned (after all our hard work) that it just wasn’t conducive for actual selling of our goodies.   So back to the drawing board we went and simplified the site, making it streamlined for taking orders from all corners of the world.

So… all this to say that you can now order Crispy Monkey Brittle, my Veggie Bouquet ebook, and even Oldfather Farms hats online through Oldfatherfarms.com.  For those of you who have already tried any of these items we would love for you to leave a review on the individual product page.

Many blessings and Happy Holidays!

    Amie Sue,

I am so excited for you. When I return from New Mexico, I am so going to order some of this magnificent looking snack. Getting a business going is an amazing amount of work, sweat, sleepless nights…..but so worth it when it all finally comes together. Just wanted to say. Best of luck in this ongoing venture and have a splendid and fruitful holiday.

      Hello Karen,

I must say that it is delicious. hehe At the beginning of this year we decided to keep our product local so we aren’t selling on-line anymore. We have other businesses that keep us busy so we decided to keep the food manufacturing on a smaller scale. :) Blessings, amie sue

I purchase some Monkey Brittle while on vacation in Oregon and would love to buy some online but can’t find a link to purchase. So yummy!

    • amie-sue says:

      Hello Brenda,

We stopped selling it online. We only sell locally. I hope you enjoyed your time in Hood River. :) Many blessings, amie sue

  5. David says:

I went to the link, but it says the same sad tale of no availability of Monkey Brittle outside of the local area… What gives?

    • amie-sue says:

Hello David. As it states in this posting”01/01/16 We are currently only selling Monkey Brittle locally. We removed our on-line sales.” I will adjust the title as this is an old posting. Thanks for pointing it out. :) amie sue

    Hi Amie Sue,
Firstly, I love reading everything that you write, and your pictures are amazing. The tour of your kitchen is so inspiring. What a beautiful playground you have created.
I would love to try your Crispy Monkey Brittle, but I see that it wouldn’t be available for Australia.
Is there a recipe that you can share that would allow those of us who aren’t local to you, to enjoy it?
Please don’t ever stop creating… my little great grandchildren love everything I make from your recipes.
    Much love from Australia xox,

    • amie-sue says:

      Good morning Coral,

Thank you for all the wonderfully kind words. They mean a lot to me.

Regarding the Monkey Brittle. I am sorry that I won’t be able to share that recipe with you. Since it is a manufactured item and the process of making it is proprietary, I have to decline. But thanks for the inquiry. But in the meantime, I will always be creating and sharing recipes on my site. :) Have a blessed day, amie sue

Do you know when Monkey Brittle will be back in stock? My mother has a strict diet and is absolutely in love with it, but we haven’t been able to find any in a few years. Any help would be amazing!

  11. Grant says:

Do you know where we can purchase any Monkey Brittle? My mother is a huge fan, has a limited diet, and this is one of the few treats she can eat. The two websites listed in the previous comment were “Out of stock”, and I was wondering if that was a temporary thing?

    God Bless

    • amie-sue says:

      Good morning Grant,

Right now we are selling it only in two places; letstruck.com and Farmstand which is a local health food store here in Hood River, Or. I know let’s truck sells out really fast when they get it. I can’t keep up with the demand. :) You can try contacting Farmstand to see if they will mail you some. I believe they have done it in the past for others. http://farmstandinthegorge.com/

      Blessings, amie sue

  12. Kenneth Hanson says:

Love your Monkey Brittle. Just wish it was available on a regular basis. I tried to get to your web site to Order it but it keeps redirecting me. The only place I been able to get it was letstrucks site but it sells out in hours. Help love your product.

    • amie-sue says:

      Good evening Kenneth,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this with me. We have struggled to keep up with the demand for Monkey Brittle. A mixed blessing to have. Currently, we are only selling through Letstruck.com and at a local health food store called Farmstand (here in Hood River, OR). We hope to expand our production in the future. blessings, amie sue :)

  13. Seth Bradley says:

Are you going to be resuming production?

    • amie-sue says:

      Good afternoon Seth,

I recently sold the company and they will resume production once their commercial manufacturing space is up and running. They are currently in the process which is exciting. Thanks for reaching out. blessings, amie sue
