When it comes to raw desserts, just because a person slaps the words raw, vegan, paleo, gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, or (amazingly) all of the above to a food doesn’t necessarily make it a FREE FOR ALL dessert. Naturally, these taglines come with powerful effects if you add them into your life but we must do so in moderation. First and foremost we need to learn how to pay attention to our own bodies (not just our taste buds) and feed it accordingly.
What I love about this recipe is how simple it is to make… ah heck, let’s be honest… what I really LOVE about this recipe is how my teeth effortlessly would glide through the thick chocolate coating, met with the chewy peanut buttery core that just causes me to swoon.
Croutons are a by-product of making bread, which is exactly where this recipe came from. When I create raw bread recipes, I like to set aside a small portion of the dough to create croutons from it.
