I get this question a lot, and it’s a good one because everyone wants to make the most of their investment. And I say investment because nuts are not cheap, especially if you seek raw and organic ones. So, today, I hope to clear it up for you. When it comes to substituting sweeteners, just keep in mind the flavor, color, and viscosity that the sugar has that you will be replacing. From there, try to replicate that. If you are needing to replace a liquid sweetener, try to do with another liquid one. With raw food recipes, it is much easier to make these adjustments than it is with baked goods.
