When it comes to substituting sweeteners, just keep in mind the flavor, color, and viscosity that the sugar has that you will be replacing. From there, try to replicate that. If you are needing to replace a liquid sweetener, try to do with another liquid one. With raw food recipes, it is much easier to make these adjustments than it is with baked goods.
